Bhattadev University in Bajali has decided to initiate online admission process for undergraduate, post-graduate and post-graduate diploma programmes for the session 2020-21.

In a notification issued by the university, the university has invited online applications for admission to government-aided free programmes from eligible candidates for BA programme with honours in Assamese, Economics, Education, English, Geography, History, Philosophy, Political Science, and Sanskrit.

For BSc programmes, applications are invited for Botany, Chemistry, Geography, Mathematics, Physics, Statistics, and Zoology.

Applications will be issued from Thursday (July 16).

The university has also decided to introduce a BA (Honours) programme in Mass Communication and Journalism from this academic session.

The duration of all undergraduate programmes is for three years, divided into six semesters.

Presently, the university offers post-graduate courses in five subjects- M.A. in Assamese and Geography and MSc in Zoology, Mathematics and Physics.

The university offers PG. diploma programmes of one-year duration with two semesters in-PG Diploma in Computer Application (PGDCA), PG Diploma in Assamese Journalism (PGDAJ) and PG Diploma in Tourism and Travel Management (PGDTTM).

All PG programmes of the University are self-financed.

The admission to all PG programmes will commence after the declaration of the results of end semester examination.

All programmes of the university follow the CBCS system the aspiring students seeking online admission are mandatorily required to generate IDs by visiting the DHE website https://directorateofhighereducation.assam.gov.in/.

The relevant information relating to admission of all the programmes will be available on the University website www.bhattadevuniversity.ac.in.

The selection list will be published on the merit basis and the University will follow the existing reservation policy of the state government.

All the online admission will be provisional until the proper verification of original documents.

Fee, wherever applicable are to be paid online.
