Campaigning for the remaining two phases of Assam Assembly elections is on its peak. Leaders from all political parties are going all out to woo the voters.
With the festival of colours – Holi, coinciding with the festival of democracy – elections, leaders from all political parties were seen celebrating Fakua (Holi) with the general public amid election campaigning.
In Nagaon, senior Assam Congress leader and Lok Sabha MP Pradyut Bordoloi was seen celebrating Holi with the general public.

Assam Congress in-charge Jitendra Singh Alwar also wished the people of the State on the occasion of Holi.
“Wishing everyone a safe, cheerful and vibrant Holi! May this colourful festival fill all our lives with happiness, good health and abundance!” said Jitendra Singh Alwar.
Assam State BJP president Ranjit Kumar Dass also wished the people on the occasion of Holi.

Assam Chief Minister Sarbananda Sonowal also celebrated Holi at Fancy Bazaar in Guwahati while campaigning for the Assembly elections.
