Campaigning for the remaining two phases of Assam Assembly elections is on its peak. Leaders from all political parties are going all out to woo the voters.

With the festival of colours – Holi, coinciding with the festival of democracy – elections, leaders from all political parties were seen celebrating Fakua (Holi) with the general public amid election campaigning.

In Nagaon, senior Assam Congress leader and Lok Sabha MP Pradyut Bordoloi was seen celebrating Holi with the general public.

“Celebrated Holi with the people of Nagaon,” Assam Congress leader Pradyut Bordoloi.

“Wishing you all fresh new beginnings and prosperity on the auspicious occasion of Holi. As the stage is set for people in Assam to embrace #Congressor5Guarantee, may the future be full of opportunities and welfare for all,” Pradyut Bordoloi tweeted.

Gaurav Gogoi tweeted: “This #Holi is going to be extra special & colourful for Assam, as it gears up to welcome a new future full of prosperity with #Congressor5Guarantee! Wishing you all happy, healthy & joyous times ahead!”

Assam Congress leader Bobbeeta Sharma tweeted, “Let us all find time to appreciate and enjoy the colors that life has to offer. Happy Holi to all!!”

Assam Congress in-charge Jitendra Singh Alwar also wished the people of the State on the occasion of Holi.

“Wishing everyone a safe, cheerful and vibrant Holi! May this colourful festival fill all our lives with happiness, good health and abundance!” said Jitendra Singh Alwar.

Assam State BJP president Ranjit Kumar Dass also wished the people on the occasion of Holi.

“Wishing the people of Assam on the occasion of festival of colours – Holi,” said Ranjit Kumar Dass.

Assam Chief Minister Sarbananda Sonowal also celebrated Holi at Fancy Bazaar in Guwahati while campaigning for the Assembly elections.
