Congress leader Angkita Dutta on Monday filed her nomination from the Amguri constituency for the Assam Assembly elections.
Angkita Dutta submitted her nomination papers before the returning officer at Sibsagar.
Angkita Dutta was accompanied by hundreds of Congress workers and supporters on her way to the office of the Returning Officer for filing of nomination papers.
After filing her nomination, Angkita Dutta exuded confidence of her win from the Amguri constituency.
“I am thankful for the overwhelming love and support. Hope to get the same in the days ahead,” said Angkita Dutta.

Angkita Dutta is the daughter of former Assam Minister and Congress veteran Anjan Dutta.
Anjan Dutta was also the president of the Assam Congress in the 2016 Assembly elections in the State.
