Assam Congress president Ripun Bora filed his nomination from Gohpur constituency on Monday.
Assam Congress chief Ripun Bora submitted his nomination papers before the Returning Officer for Gohpur constituency.
Ripun Bora submitted his nomination papers in Biswanath.
Ripun Bora was accompanied by Lok Sabha MP Gaurav Gogoi and former State minister Rakibul Hussain.
Ripun Bora said that the Assam Congress is aiming to win all the seats that it is contesting.
“Our target is to win all the seats that we are contesting,” said Ripun Bora after submitting his nomination papers.

Meanwhile, former Assam minister Rakibul Hussain launched a direct attack on Assam State BJP president Ranjit Dass.
Rakibul Hussain said that Assam BJP chief has forsaken his own constituency of Sorbhog because he fears defeat there.
“The Assam BJP chief has feared defeat at Sorbhog and so he is now contesting from Pathacharkuchi.”
