Newly-floated regional political party Assam Jatiya Parishad (AJP) on Sunday released its second list of 50 candidates for the ensuing Assam Assembly elections 2021.
Earlier on Friday, AJP released its first list of 18 candidates.
The regional party, backed by the All Assam Students’ Union (AASU) and several other organizations, has so far announced the candidature for 68 seats out of 126 Assembly seats.
Apart from Duliajan seat, AJP president Lurin Jyoti Gogoi will also fight from Naharkatia constituency, as per the second list of candidates.

In the first list, it was announced that Lurin Jyoti Gogoi would contest from Duliajan seat.
There will be a friendly contest in 5 constituencies with candidates fielded by its ally Raijor Dal.
According to the second list, the candidates and their constituencies are Humayun Kabir – Pathakandi, Ram Ratan Dusad – Dholai, Aimul Haque Laskar – Udarband, Alimuddin Mazumdar – Lakhipur.
