The Congress has intensified campaigning for the upcoming Assam Assembly Election.

Top Congress leaders are seen campaigning for the party in every nook and corner of the State.

The Congress is targeting 101 seats in the 126-member Assam Assembly.

Notably, the Congress is applying Chhattisgarh model to ensure victory in the upcoming Assam Assembly Election.

As such, Chhattisgarh Chief Minister and Congress’ observer for Assam – Bhupesh Baghel is in the State.

Chhattisgarh CM Bhupesh Baghel on Monday was at Teok in Jorhat district, where he took part in a party function.

Congress workers accorded a warm welcome to the Chhattisgarh Chief Minister at the Congress office in Teok.

Earlier on Sunday, Chhattisgarh Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel addressed two public meetings in poll-bound Assam on Sunday.

Chhattisgarh CM Bhupesh Baghel addressed two massive rallies in Eastern Assam’s Amguri and Mahmora.

Baghel participated in a public meeting at Boy’s High School field, Amguri town of Sivasagar district in Assam, where he addressed a public meeting.

Baghel also addressed another public meeting at Domor Dolong Tea Estate in Charaideo district of Assam.

Baghel accompanied by All India Congress Committee (AICC) Secretary for Assam and Raipur West MLA Vikas Upadhyay reached Rowroia Airport, Jorhat in Assam by a special plane on Sunday.
