Assam: Application status for TET 2019 released online

The application status for Assam Teacher’s Eligibility Test 2019 has been released by the department of elementary education, Assam.

The application status can be checked online at ssa.assam.gov.in.

Any discrepancy in the application form can be corrected by the applicants by approaching the concerned authorities in the department.

The TET examination will be held on November 10, which was originally scheduled for October 20`.

The admit cards for the examination would be released soon.

The process to check the status of the application online is-

2. Click on the link, ‘TET Advertisement, 2019,’ under Latest section appearing on the home page

3. A new page will appear on the display screen

4. Click on any of the two links provided on the webpage

5. A new page will appear on the display screen

6. Click on the ‘Application status,’ appearing on the page

7. Key in your Application number and check the application status.

Over 36,500 posts of teachers are lying vacant in the primary and upper primary schools of Assam.

At present, the school students, mainly in the villages, are facing a lot of problem because of the vacancy.

There are several schools in the villages in Assam, where a single teacher is running the primary schools.
