Addressing the huge gathering, Atishi extended heartfelt Rongali Bihu wishes to the people.

She said, “The people of Assam have consistently embraced Arvind Kejriwal with love and blessings. The victories in the Guwahati Municipal Corporation and Tinsukia Municipal Board elections were unexpected, but they underscore the trust and affection the people have for Arvind Kejriwal.”

“His commitment to fulfilling promises, such as establishing world-class schools and hospitals, providing free bus travel for women, and generating employment opportunities for youth, resonates deeply,” she said.

She continued, “In Assam, thousands of schools have been shuttered, hospitals lack essential medicines, and tea garden workers grapple with meager daily wages. Despite grand pre-election promises, the BJP has failed to deliver on its commitments.”

“The Aam Aadmi Party pledges to furnish Assam with exemplary educational institutions, robust healthcare facilities, and address the plight of tea garden workers by ensuring fair wages, land deeds, and minimum support prices for tea growers. This is the unwavering commitment of AAP and Arvind Kejriwal.”

Atishi urged the people to cast their votes in favor of Manoj Dhanowar, the AAP contender for the Dibrugarh Lok Sabha seat, challenging the stronghold of BJP’s Union Minister Sarbananda Sonowal and Assam Jatiya Parishad (AJP)’s Lurinjyoti Gogoi.
