Guwahati: Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) leader and Delhi minister Atishi Marlena, is set to embark on a three-day visit to Assam, to campaign for the party’s candidates contesting the upcoming Lok Sabha elections. 

During her visit to the state, Marlena will attend several public rallies and road shows in favour of AAP candidates Manoj Dhanowar and Rishiraj Kaundinya vying for the Dibrugarh and Sonitpur Lok Sabha seats, respectively. 

Marlena will arrive in Dibrugarh on Monday (April 8) morning, and participate in a road show in Dibrugarh district’s Duliajan to campaign for Dhanowar. On Tuesday (April 9), she will participate in a bike rally and a public meeting in Tinsukia district’s Margherita.  

The same day, Marlena will participate in a road show in Tinsukia. She will interact with the media in Sonitpur district’s Tezpur on Wednesday (April 10), and participate in a roadshow for Kaundinya. 

The AAP had initially fielded candidates in the state’s Dibrugarh, Sonitpur and Guwahati Lok Sabha constituencies, but later, withdrew its Guwahati candidate Bhaben Choudhury.
