“Around 2,000 people, including members from AIUDF and Congress, have so far joined our party in the last couple of months under three Assembly constituencies namely Dhubri, Gauripur and Golakganj,” Dr. Sanyal claimed.

“Several hundreds of other members of the AIUDF, Congress as well as individuals will join the BJP soon,” he said.

“The people in large numbers, particularly belonging to Dhubri and Gauripur Assembly constituencies are joining our party due to the under-development of their localities and the dismal performance of their local MLAs,” said Sanyal.
