As many as three persons died on Friday in separate road mishaps that took place at various locations in Kokrajhar district.
One of the three victims who died in separate road mishaps has been identified as 59-year-old Kamal Ram Krishna Das, son of Rajdeep Singh, a resident of Patharghat ward No-2 in Kokrajhar district. Kamal Ram Krishna, who died while he was hit by a bike, was later brought to the Rupnath Brahma Civil Hospital in Kokrajhar.
The other victim has been identified as 19-year-old Sandhya Bin, son of Ramjana Bin, a resident of Jainagar Gossaigaon village in Kokrajhar district.
Another victim of a road mishap has been identified as 59-year-old Nayan Tara Saha, wife of one Jatindra Saha, who is a resident of Choutatola ward No 4 in Kokrajhar district.
Meanwhile, 36-year-old Abhijit Chakraborty, son of late Danjit Chakrobothy, a resident of Guwahati Madhav Dev Road in Guwahati, allegedly committed suicide at around 5 am on Friday at Salakati Bamunigaon railway track by jumping in front of up Alipurduar Intercity-Lumding Express.
Abhijit Chakraborty was a security officer of Unitaq Private Limited Company at Salakati in Kokrajhar.
