Assam has registered 74 more COVID19 positive cases, taking the state’s overall tally to 1,830.
Confirming the news, Assam health minister Himanta Biswa Sarma in a tweet at 11.03 pm on Wednesday said the infected patients are from Dhubri, Nagaon and Udalguri districts.
The health minister informed that 59 persons have tested COVID19 positive in Dhubri district and 14 others have tested positive in Nagaon district while one positive case has been detected in Udalguri district in BTAD.

With the new cases, the number of active COVID19 cases in Assam stands at 1,410.
Earlier, a total of 413 COVID19 patients were discharged from various hospitals in the state after their recovery.
The deadly disease has so far claimed the lives of 4 persons while 3 cases migrated from the state.
“Total cases 1830. Recovered 413. Active cases 1410. Deaths 04,” Sarma added.
The health minister informed that on Wednesday, the state has registered a total of 269 positive cases so far.
In India, the total number of confirmed COVID19 cases crossed the 2.07 lakh-mark by Wednesday.
The death toll in India has breached the 5,800-mark on Wednesday.
