Arunachal Pradesh has registered 9 more COVID19 positive cases, taking the state’s total tally to 38.

According to Arunachal Pradesh’s latest COVID19 status report, so far 9,551 samples have been collected in the state including 452 samples as on Wednesday.

While a total of 7,859 samples have been found negative during COVID19 tests, 37 samples have tested positive and results of 1,583 samples are awaited.

With the new cases, Arunachal Pradesh now has 37 active COVID19 cases while the first positive case was discharged from the hospital after his recovery in April.

According sources, all the cases are detected in quarantine facilities and will be moved to COVID Care Centres.

All the infected patients are from Changlang district, sources said.

Sources also said all active positive are asymptomatic and in normal condition.

India has so far registered nearly 2.1 lakh COVID19 positive cases with a record number of nearly 9,000 new cases getting detected across states and union territories on Wednesday.

The death toll has touched nearly 6,000 mark.

The Union health Ministry says recoveries have crossed the one-lakh mark and the testing infrastructure has been improved considerably.
