Minister of State for home affairs G Kishan Reddy informed the Parliament on Wednesday that in the last 5 years a total of 120 Jamaat-ul-Mujahideen Bangladesh (JMB) terrorists were arrested in India, including 59 in Assam.
“According to available data, a total of 12 JMB terrorists were arrested by the security forces in the last five years,” Reddy said while replying to a written query in the Rajya Sabha.

“59 of them arrested in Assam alone, while 42 were arrested in West Bengal, four each in Kerala and Jharkhand, three each in Karnataka and Tamil Nadu, two in Uttar Pradesh and one each in Madhya Pradesh, Bihar and Tripura,” Reddy added.
