CEM, KAAC, Tuliram Ronghang along with EMs and MACs accompanied Timung to file his nomination papers.

MAC Horen Sing Bey resigned as the Chairman of KAAC after he got the green signal that he would be made an EM of the Council along with MACs Mangal Sing Timung and Lunsing Teron. There is more than a month’s delay due to reported cold vibes between the CEM and HAD Minister Sum Ronghang over making Lunsing Teron an EM who the later favours.

However, with the filing of nomination for the post of the Chairman of KAAC by MAC Timung it is seen that the process of making political adjustment is underway as Timung’s feather were ruffled with his sidelining by not taking him in the Executive Committee of KAAC. Inducting the three, i.e., Horen Sing Bey, Mangal Sing Timung and Lunsing Teron into the Executive Committee will be sooner than later as the Lok Sabha election is approaching. Horen Sing Bey and Lunsing Teron are new faces whereas Mangal Sing Timung has been an EM during the Congress ruled KAAC.
