In yet another shocking incident, a 12-year-year old girl was allegedly gang-raped by three armed miscreants in Upper Assam’s Charaideo district on Thursday.
Police sources said three armed youths barged into the house of the victim around 2 am on Thursday at Kolakota Mazhi village under Sapekhati police station in the district.
They forced the victim’s elder brother and the members of his family and gang-raped the minor girl at gunpoint.
Meanwhile, in a separate incident, a fourth-grade employee of a higher secondary school was beaten up by people at Nagarbera on charges of molesting a Class VII student.
