A youth in Tinsukia has been suspected to have joined the United Liberation Front of Asom-Independent (ULFA-I) as he has been missing since the night of Uruka.
As per sources, the person missing has been identified as Abhijit Borah of the Hatihal Borgora area.

His family members claimed that he told them he was going shopping for the Uruka celebrations but never came back.

His phone has been switched off since then and there is no message from him where he could have gone.

The locals have suspected that he might have joined the proscribed ULFA-I as they were in a financial crisis.

His wife said that she has no idea where he went but all she wanted is for him to come back.
The police are now investigating the issue but it is not yet confirmed if he was abducted or if he joined the outfit.
He is said to be working as a cab driver.
