Guwahati: The Special Task Force (STF) apprehended two suspected women drug peddlers in a raid on Sunday in Guwahati, Assam.

The operation, conducted near Railway Gate No 3 on Tokobari Road, yielded a significant seizure of heroin, cash, and mobile phones.

According to an official post, the apprehended women were found carrying 27 small plastic containers containing a total of 40.5 grams of heroin.

While authorities refrained from commenting on the street value of the seized drugs, estimations place it in the multi-crore range based on illegal market prices.
