Guwahati: A police team in Guwahati, Assam raided a house in the Hatigaon area of the city on Sunday and recovered a staggering 41 domestic LPG cylinders.
The location identified as house number 27 in Shahnagar was found to be the den of a major unofficial and illegal gas cylinder operation syndicate.

It has been expected to be run by the occupants of the house.

During the raid, the police seized the 41 cylinders and detained one individual, identified as Mainul Haque.

While investigations are ongoing, the large quantity of seized cylinders suggests a potentially significant illegal LPG dealing ring.
The police are currently investigating the case.
