Sensation prevails at Lanka in Assam’s Hojai district as a girl student of the district committed suicide after his failure to clear the HSLC Examination 2019.
The results of the High School Leaving Certificate (HSLC) Examination 2019 were declared on Wednesday by the Board of Secondary education, Assam (SEBA).
The student appeared in the HSLC Examination 2019 from Buds English School at Lanka in Hojai district.

As per information, a girl named Deepika Dey allegedly committed suicide after the declaration of the HSLC results by the SEBA.
She secured 235 marks out of 600.
The deceased hails from Joyrambasti under Lanka Police Station in Hojai district.

She was the third daughter of Gautam Chandra Dey and Shilpi Dey.
Reportedly, her body was found hanging from the ceiling of her house.
Locals suspect that unexpected result might be the reason of her suicide.
A pall of gloom has descended in the area and denizens expressed shock over the incident.
