Badarsingh Narzary

An on-duty police constable died of heatstroke while another constable was hospitalized in Kokrajhar on Friday. Sources said the deceased constable was engaged in Governor’s duty on Friday.

The deceased official identified as Badarsingh Narzary was a resident of Bagheswari, Bongaigaon.

When Narzary fell unconscious, he was immediately rushed to Rupnath Brahma civil hospital where he died.  Narzary was attached to Kokrajhar Deputy Commissioner office.

Narzary leaves behind his two daughters who are studying in class 12 and 8. Pinky Narzary wife of late Narzary has demanded Assam Governmnet to provide govt job to her to run their family.

The other official Lalmohan Barman was engaged in duty at Makrapara of Kokrajhar district and is currently under medical supervision at the Kokrajhar RNB civil hospital.

Barman was on duty at Bhoatgaon where he complained of uneasiness due to extreme heat and was brought to the civil hospital. The incidents took place during the governor’s three-day visit at Kokrajhar and Dhubri district.
