The Chairman of the Kajalgaon Town Development as well as former Speaker of the BTC Paniram Brahma laid the foundation stone of Swrang guest house cum hostel of the National Boro Christian Council (NBCC) at Kajalgaon in Chirang district of Assam on Saturday.
Fourteen denominational churches of the NBCC and recently formed West Bengal NBCC were present at the programme.
Benzjlaigra Moshahary president of National Boro Christian Council (NBCC) said that NBCC have been searching since many years a plot of land for construction of the guest house cum hostel and as well as for head office of NBCC but recently they had approached BTC Chief Hagrama Mohilary and submitted a letter for allotment of land for NBCC.
He said that BTC chief Hagrama Mohilary accepted their requests and granted land for construction of the guest house cum hostel as well as head office of NBCC at Kajalgaon in Chirang district.
“NBCC offers special thanks to Hagrama Mohilary, the chief of BTC for allotment of land for NBCC head office, Swrang guest house and hostel and we all are grateful to him,” he added.
Paniram Brahma, chairman of the Kajalgaon Town Development in Chirang said that the guest house and hostel is a good initiative of the NBCC and it will be beneficial to students as well as common people.
