Assam chief minister Sarbananda Sonowal took stock of progress of construction works of an auditorium being built under Chief Minister’s untied fund at Sri Sri Auniati Sakha Satra, Kacharibari in eastern Assam’s Dibrugarh on Sunday.

Accompanied by MLAs Prashanta Phukan and Bimal Bora, the chief minister inspected the construction works and asked concerned authorities to make best efforts to develop the auditorium with all modern amenities.

In order to ensure that no water logging takes place within the Satra campus, chief minister Sonowal asked to build drains all around the premises.

The chief minister also took stock of availability of parking area in the campus and directed concerned authority to develop the area with pavers block.

He also instructed to make provision for green room with the auditorium.

Dibrugarh deputy commissioner Pallav Gopal Jha was also present during the visit of the chief minister to the Sakha Satra.
