As per reports, the molested victim had gone out with her friend for shopping at Lankeswar. Both the girls stay as paying guests at Kailashpur area near Lankeswar on the outskirts of the city.
However, when the duo were returning back after shopping around 8 pm from Lankeswar, a helmet wearing men on a motorcycle rode past them and had inappropriately touched one of the girls.
After both the students started shouting, the local residents of the area tried to catch the bike borne culprits but could not succeed in doing so.
Narrating their ordeal on Facebook, the victim’s friend said, “It was around 8 in the evening. Commuters were still there on the street. As we were walking towards Kailashpur, a bike-borne man (weaning helmet) coming from the opposite side slowed down his bike near us, touched my friend inappropriately and zoomed off. It all happened so suddenly that we could do nothing.”
One of the students remembered that a part of the registration number of the bike went as 0773.
The friend of the molested victim took to social media to describe about the incident.
However, it is still unknown whether the molested victim had lodged a complaint against the incident in the police station or not.
