Arunachal Pradesh environment and forest minister Mama Natung has launched SpaceM, an over-the-top (OTT) media service application of the Space Miracle Studios here.

OTT is a means of providing television and film content over the internet at the request and to suit the requirements of the individual consumer.

Speaking on the occasion, Natung lauded Space Miracle Studio’s effort to uplift the filmmakers of the state.

“This initiative will prove to be a big platform for the state’s filmmakers wherein they can showcase their talents and also earn revenue,” he said.

Natung also appealed to all to extend their cooperation to environment and forest department’s Air Gun Surrender Abhiyaan.

Space Miracle Studios managing director Alison Welly said, “ SpaceM will be accessible through android, iOS, web and Android TV, and will offer streaming services of movies, web series, shorts, etc, on a pay-per-view basis.”

The SpaceM app tends to boost the filmmakers and interest groups of the state to showcase their talents by enabling them to reach out to their targeted audiences and they will also be able to earn for their work,” Welly said.

SpaceM will also be organizing the ‘1st SpaceM Short Film Competition 2021’ in May to boost the filmmaking culture in Arunachal Pradesh.
