Arunachal Pradesh Minister for Health & Family Welfare, Rural Development & Panchayati Raj, Alo Libang after visiting Tawang, one of the major tourist destinations of the Northeast, stated that “Tawang has become one of the most developed districts in Arunachal”.

The State Health & Family Welfare Minister, Alo Libang, who also visited the residence of Arunachal Pradesh Chief Minister Pema Khandu on Tuesday, stated that he felt honoured to have visited the CM’s residence.

On his Twitter handle Alo on Tuesday stated: “Tawang has become one of the most developed districts in Arunachal.”

“Honoured to have visited HCM @PemaKhanduBJP’s residence at Tawang,” Health Minister Libang tweeted.

Tawang which is located at a height of about 3048 m in Arunachal Pradesh is known for many important and beautiful monasteries and is famous as the birth place of Dalai Lama.

The Tawang Monastery which is in the most beautiful town of Arunachal is popular among the tourists and is considered as the most sacred place for the Buddhists.

On Tuesday, the Arunachal Pradesh Minister for Health & Family Welfare, Rural Development & Panchayati Raj also inspected the District Hospital, Tawang and General Hospital, Bomdila during his visit to Mon region of Tawang and West Kameng districts.

Libang tweeted on Tuesday: “Inspected District Hospital, Tawang & General Hospital, Bomdila during my visit to Mon region of Tawang & West Kameng Districts.”

On Tuesday, the minister also had meetings with DRDA teams of Bomdila and Tawang and reviewed the progress of the works being implemented under Rural Development schemes.

Minister Libang on Tuesday tweeted: “Met with the team of DRDA Bomdila & Tawang and examined the status of work being implemented under Rural Dev. schemes such as MGNREGs, PMAY-G, SPMRM etc. Have instructed Officers concerned to address the issues of DRDAs in Arunachal.”
