“There is absolutely no problem on Indo-China border in Arunachal Pradesh,” said union sports minister Kiren Rijiu on Friday in Bengaluru.
The minister further said the borders of Arunachal Pradesh are safe and the army and the border security force personnel are taking “good care” of every inch of the land.
“In the absence of demarcation when Chinese army comes in, we intrusion. If our troops go in, China calls it intrusion,” Rijiju said.
He was reacting to the claim of BJP MP from Arunachal Pradesh Tapir Gao that Chinese troops forayed into Indian soil and constructed a bridge across Kiomru nullah in Chaglagam circle of Anjaw district.
India shares nearly a 4000-kilometre border with China which is not clearly demarcated.
This leads to ‘incursions’ by the two sides into each other’s territory.
