A team of Kerala Police are probing the incident, with speculation swirling about possible black magic involvement.

The deceased include a married couple, Naveen and Devi from Kottayam, and their friend Arya from Thiruvananthapuram.
Their bodies were found on Tuesday in a hotel room at Hapoli, Arunachal Pradesh.

While initial investigations by Arunachal Pradesh police suggest suicide, a definitive conclusion awaits the autopsy report.
However, Devi’s father, a wildlife photographer, claimed that black magic may be responsible for the tragedy.
Thiruvananthapuram city police commissioner C Nagaraju noted the “abnormal” behaviour of the trio before their deaths.
He said that there was a need to examine their electronic devices for clues.
The purpose of their visit to Arunachal Pradesh also still remains unclear. Police are investigating why they formed this group and their common objective.
Soorya Krishnamoorthy, a friend of the couple’s family, confirmed they were both Ayurveda doctors.
Naveen was involved in online trading, while Devi taught German at a private school, and Arya was a French teacher at the same institution.
