Interacting with a team of the newly elected members of All Nyishi Students’ Union (ANSU) at his office in Itanagar, Libang said that it was important that right information about the vaccine is spread among the masses.
The minister also appreciated the ANSU team led by its president Nabam Dodum for their concern for the people of the state and expressed hope that the second wave of the pandemic will be defeated soon.
Earlier, the ANSU team offered their services to the health and family welfare department in containing the spread of Covid-19 in the state.
At the direction of the minister, health and family welfare secretary P Parthiban and Itanagar Capital Region district medical officer Dr M Perme briefed the team on the areas where they can volunteer.
Later while interacting with the media persons, Dodum and union general secretary Gora Rikam urged the people to follow the SoPs issued by the government.
“The new ANSU team is at the moment concentrating on containing the spread of Covid-19 after which we shall take up other issues,” the duo said.
