Government must discuss the situation along the border in Arunachal Pradesh when the Parliament meets on January 31.
This was stated by Congress MP Manish Tewari on Thursday.

Tewari made this statement while responding to the ‘abduction’ of a youth from Arunachal Pradesh by the troopers of the People’s Liberation Army (PLA) of China.
“It is important that when parliament meets on January 31, the government must discuss the situation along the borders in Ladakh and Arunachal Pradesh,” said Congress MP Manish Tewari.

The alleged ‘abduction’ of the 17-year-old Arunachal boy was first flagged by BJP MP from the frontier state – Tapir Gao.
“Tapir Gao is an MP of the BJP. He bravely articulated his concerns,” Congress MP Manish Tewari further said.
“BJP MP from Arunachal East Tapir Gao has been repeatedly raising issue of Chinese creeping occupation of Indian Territory. He is a very brave man,” Tewari added.
Meanwhile, the Indian Army has contacted the People’s Liberation Army (PLA) of China in regards to the ‘abducted’ Arunachal boy.
The Indian Army has sought assistance from the PLA to ‘locate’ the youth and “return him”.

“17-year-old youth – Miram Tarom of Zido in Arunachal Pradesh was reportedly captured by Chinese PLA across the LAC. Indian Army immediately contacted PLA through hotline, assistance from PLA has been sought to locate and return him as per protocol,” Tezpur Defence PRO said.
The ‘abducted’ youth’s friend escaped from the PLA troopers and reported the matter to the authorities concerned.
