Arunachal Pradesh has registered three more COVID19 positive cases on Saturday, taking state’s total to 177.
According to the latest update on Arunachal Pradesh’s COVID19 status as shared by the state’s health department, 3 new positive cases have been detected at the quarantine facility in West Kameng district.

All are returnees and “asymptomatic”, the state health department said.
The department on its Twitter handle informed that all the infected patients shifted to the Covid19 Care Centre.
The health department said on Saturday, 5 other patients, who were earlier infected by the virus, have been discharged from the hospitals after their recovery.

Out of the 5 patients, 4 are from Changlang district and 1 is from Namsai district.
The discharged patients have been advised by the health department to undergo 14-day strict home quarantine.
With the newly-discharged patients, the total discharged cases in Arunachal Pradesh have increased to 54.
The deadly disease has claimed the life of one patient so far in Arunachal and the state currently has 122 active cases.
Out of the COVID19 active cases in the state, Changlang district has 52 cases, Capital Complex has 35 cases, West Kameng has 12 cases and Namsai district has 7 active cases.
While East Siang has 5 active COVID19 cases, Longding has 3 cases and Tirap has 2 cases.
The 6 districts, which have one COVID19 positive case, are Lohit, Tawang, Lower Dibang Valley, Leparada, West Siang and Lower Siang.
