A COVID-19 patient in Tirap in Arunachal Pradesh was discharged from the hospital on Thursday after she recovered from the infection.
The patient, a girl, was released from the Covid Care Centre (CCC) in Khinsa in Tirap district.

She tested negative for coronavirus consecutively, thereby making her eligible to be released.
Tirap Deputy Commissioner Bhanu Prabha handed the discharge certificate to the girl.
Tirap Kardak Riba and DMO Dr K Mossang were also present in the small discharge ceremony that was held at the covid care centre.

Later, Tirap district magistrate DK Thungdok, along with police personnel, escorted her to her village.
Till now, three COVID-19 positive cases have been detected in Tirap.
All the three patients are undergoing treatment at the CCC in Khonsa and officials are hopeful that they would be recover soon.
The girl discharged on Thursday had returned from Chennai recently.
She was shifted to the covid care centre from quarantine centre after she tested positive for COVID-19.
Arunachal Pradesh, so far, has reported 99 COVID-19 positive cases and seven patients have already been discharged from hospitals.
