Arunachal Pradesh has banned the entry of people from Assam into the neighboring state in view of the rising cases of Covid-19.

The Longding district administration of the state which shares border with Assam has restricted entry of the people from Assam.

The order also restricted inter-state movement of persons without valid movement pass.

No movement pass would be issued to any individual for travel to Assam and back except on ground of medical emergencies, the order said.
