Pasighat-West MLA Ninong Ering has donated his one-month salary to Arunachal Pradesh health department for prevention of Coronavirus.

MLA Ering, who visited ‘Help Centre for Coronavirus’ set up at Ruksin Guest House on Friday, gave cash Rs 1 lakh to Ruksin CHC in-charge Kadum Jonnom for purchasing sanitizer, masks and other substances used for maintaining public hygiene in his constituency.

He further handed over the medical officer two bundles masks worth Rs 25 thousand for distribution among medical staffs and local villagers.

Informing that no Coronavirus positive case is reported in the state so far, MLA Ering urged the people to keep alert to prevent entry of the dreaded virus in their area.

The MLA has taken stock of the precautionary measures taken by the local authorities and appreciated the medical and police teams for their untiring efforts in health screening besides restraining unauthorized entry of the outsiders into land of Arunachal Pradesh during the emergency situation.
