As the number of Covid19 positive cases continues to rise in Arunachal Pradesh, State Legislative Assembly Speaker Pasang D Sona has called upon the members of the Assembly to get themselves tested for the virus.
Sona on Saturday informed that a Rapid Antigen Testing facility would be set up at the State Legislative Assembly complex on Tuesday (Sept 8) for the legislators to undergo the test.

The testing kiosk would be open from 9 am to 12 pm.
“The testing facility is being arranged, keeping in view of the spike in the number of Covid19 positive cases in the state and in order to ensure the safety of the legislative assembly members who being public leaders have to frequently come in contact with the people,” the Speaker said.
Arunachal on Friday reported 201 new cases of Covid19.

The state currently has a total of 1,487 active Covid19 cases.
While 3,280 people have recovered from the disease, eight have died of the infection so far.
Education minister Taba Tedir has also tested positive for Covid-19 and is presently in home quarantine.
