Arunachal Pradesh on Thursday registered 74 new COVID19 positive cases, taking the state’s overall tally to 1,484.

According to the latest update of the state’s COVID19 status on Thursday, shared by the directorate of health services, Arunachal Pradesh, after the detection of 74 new cases, the state currently has 654 active COVID19 cases.

The new positive cases have been detected in 12 districts of Arunachal Pradesh and the Itanagar Capital Region (ICR) has reported the highest number of 21 cases.

Out of the positive patients, 67 are asymptomatic and 7 others are symptomatic, the health department said.

On Thursday, a total of 154 patients, who were earlier infected by COVID19, have been discharged from 11 districts.

The highest number of patients discharged was 85 and they were discharged from the Itanagar Capital Region (ICR).

With the release of 154 patients, the total number patients discharged from various Covid Care Centres or hospitals in Arunachal Pradesh is 827.

The deadly disease has so far claimed the lives of 3 positive patients.
