Arunachal Pradesh on Thursday registered 93 new COVID19 positive cases, taking the state’s overall tally to 1,948.
Confirming the news, the directorate of health services, Arunachal Pradesh, on its Twitter handle said the new cases have been reported from 11 districts.

Of the new positive cases, 68 are Central Para-military Force (CPMF) personnel.
On Thursday, the highest positive cases were reported from Namsai (55 cases) and Lohit (10 cases).
While 86 cases are ‘asymptomatic’, 7 other cases are ‘symptomatic’, the health department said.

Meanwhile, 38 other patients, who were earlier infected by COVID19, have been discharged from various hospitals or Covid Care Centers across the state on Thursday after their recovery.
The health department informed that 21 patients were discharged from the Itanagar Capital Region (ICR), 9 patients were discharged from East Kameng, 5 were discharged from Changlang, 1 each patient was discharged from Lower Dibang Valley, Tawang and East Siang districts.
With the release of these patients, the total number of discharged patients in Arunachal Pradesh increased to 1,245 on Thursday.
Arunachal Pradesh currently has 700 active COVID19 patients while the deadly disease has claimed the lives of 3 patients.
