About 900 health workers will receive the Covid-19 vaccine during the first phase of the vaccination drive in Arunachal Pradesh.
Prime Minister Narendra Modi had launched the world’s biggest immunization drive in the country on January 16.
The Indian government plans to inoculate 3 crores of health and other frontline workers in the first phase and 30 crores of people in the country in the second phase.

Arunachal Pradesh chief minister Pema Khandu launched the vaccination drive at the KDS district hospital in Tawang.
“Arunachal is elated to join with the rest of the nation in the launch of the world’s largest #COVID19 vaccination drive. The vaccine is being administered to 900 beneficiaries all over the State in the first phase. Attended one such launching drive at District Hospital of Tawang today,” Pema Khandu tweeted.
