Addressing a gathering on the occasion, Kaso, who is also the local MLA, said, “A higher secondary school in the area was a priority as there is none such institution in the area.”

Expressing hope that with the up-gradation of the school, the students would not have to walk far to other institutions, Kaso urged upon the young scholars to study hard and fulfill the dreams of their parents.

“Always remember that your parents have sacrificed a lot for the sake of giving you a proper lifestyle and education,” he told the children.

DC Dhawan in his speech stressed on the need to improve the overall education scenario of Capital Complex.

Calling upon the students to work hard in order to go ahead in life, Dhawan said, “Education should always be your priority.”

The DC also informed, the basic requirements of the school like desks, benches, repair and maintenance of the school, electrification, etc. would be taken care of by the administration under Chief Minister’s Samast Shiksha Yojana.

He, however, reiterated that it is not the infrastructure but the will that would take students ahead in life.

Anchal chairperson Teli Yamang also spoke on the occasion.
