Arunachal Pradesh GovernorBD Mishra in his drive to conserve energyon Wednesdayfelicitated assistant engineer Nabam Gamin, junior engineer Chukhu Juli and senior electrician of the Raj Bhavan section, N Bhattacharjee for their sincere and result-oriented hard works in modifying the lighting system of Raj Bhavan Road which has led to energy and cost-saving.
The State Governor, who was impressed by the innovation and quality of the job carried out by the officials of the Electrical Department including Nabam Gamin, Chukhu Juli and N Bhattacharjee, presentedcommendation letters to them.
The Governor said that every unit of energy or electricity saved would help in providing electricity to others who need it.
Reposing his confidence that officials would continue to excel in their endeavour in the service of the people and the nation, the Governor said that involvement of youth, students, entrepreneurs, eminent citizens and common people in energy conservation programmes would represent an act of patriotism and provide funds saved from reduced electricity bills for other developmental work.
Pushing forward Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s endeavor towards energy conservation, the Mishra emphasised on making energy conservation, a people’s movement.
He called for generating energy saving awareness among people for the same and appealed to all the citizens of Arunachal Pradesh to contribute towards energy conservation.
