He further directed the department concerned to report the status of all construction works latest by August 2019 to the committee for proper monitoring and supervision.

Mangfi wanted to know the reason for non-commissioning of Chayangtajo’s drinking water supply project and asked the department concerned to prepare a proposal for complete networking of water supply pipelines in Chayangatjo Township.

Informing that ensuring uninterrupted power supply to Chayangtajo is one of his priorities, the MLA asked the department concerned to prepare a plan for dedicated power line up to Pakke Substation.

Assuring to provide five transformers from his own resource, he directed the department concerned to install the high mast at Chayangtajo as early as possible.

Mangfi said that the improvement of education and health sectors was his priority too. Assuring to look into all issues pertaining to the two sectors, he urged the departments concerned to prepare plans for the redress of all issues in a phased manner.

He assured to provide fund for the procurement of medicines besides providing vehicles to the Health department.

To ensure that the benefits under all government-sponsored welfare schemes are reaching the designated target, Mangfi asked the BDOs to submit the list of all beneficiaries for proper monitoring, checking of pilferage of funds and rectification of any error made in the enrolment.

The MLA urged all stakeholders to extend their cooperation and support by adopting the ‘Sankalp se Siddhi’ motto in achieving the prescribed goals in true spirit and sense. He further instructed all HoOs to conceptualise and forward a vision document of their respective departments and appealed to every government officer to work in mission mode to bring benefits to the doorsteps of the people.
