Army under Dao Division conducted a mock drill in Dibrugarh of eastern Assam on Brahmaputra River in general area Chandmari Ghat for the flood relief operation.
In the mock drill, the flood relief coln of Army, representatives form the state and district administration such as SDRF, Fire and Emergency Services, disaster management cell of Deputy Commissioner’s office and police force of Dibrugarh also participated.
The aim of the exercise was to assess on readiness and carry out necessary liaison and coordination among various agencies.
