The All Assam Minority Student’s Union (AAMSU), Hojai district commiittee has withdrawn its call for a ‘Hojai Bandh’ on Friday, a press communique stated.

As per the press communique issued by Hojai district committee of AAMSU had called the bandh on August 31 demanding of fulfillment of their various issues related to organization.

On Thursday a meeting was held between the administrative officers and the representative’s of AAMSU, Hojai district committee at district headquater  Sankardeb Nagar in Hojai.

After the meeting, the Hojai unit of AAMSU has withdrawn their bandh call on Friday.

In the meeting, Hojai district Deputy Commissioner (in charge) Aroop Pathak, additional superintendent of police Ajagwaran Basumatary, members of AAMSU state commiittee and Hojai district committee were present.
