A press release from the Bhutan Embassy in Dhaka states that the package of 258 essential medicines was received by the ambassador to mark the handing over of essential medicines to Bhutan.

Bhutan requested for the supply of essential medicines for a year during Bangladesh Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina’s  visit to Bhutan in April last year.

The consignment of medicines will be delivered to the health ministry in three phases in September, October and November this year.
