Nine snakes, including five cobras, were recovered during the raid.

An investigation by the veterinary department revealed that the venom glands of the cobras had been removed, a violation of the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals Act.

Yadav denied involvement in the case and previously claimed that singer Fazilpuria was responsible for obtaining the snakes for the party. Fazilpuria, however, refuted these claims, stating that a viral video circulating online was from an album shoot.
