Union Minister of State for Home Affairs Kiren Rijiju on Friday inaugurated the upgraded District Hospital at Kiphire in Nagaland.
Congratulating the people of Kiphire, Union Minister Rijiju said the hospital would provide better healthcare for the people and urged them not only to fully utilize the upgraded facilities and infrastructure but also take ownership of it, stated AIR News.

Saying that nearly 90 per cent of health issue is related to lifestyle, Rijiju asked people to stay healthy by consuming healthy food. The Union Minister said Kiphire would very soon see beacon of development, it added.
Informing about the inauguration of the upgraded hospital by Union Minister Rijiju, Nagaland Chief Minister Neiphiu Rio on his Twitter handle on Friday stated: “Upgraded District Hospital, Kiphire inaugurated by Union Minister Kiren Rijiju.”

Saying that the “hospital will provide access to better healthcare for the people of Kiphire”, Rio further added: “I hope they not only fully utilise the upgraded facilities and infrastructure but also take ownership of it.”
Earlier, Nagaland Chief Minister Rio had chaired a special Cabinet meeting in Kiphire along the Indo-Myanmar border which was attended by Union Minister Rijiju.
After attending the Cabinet meeting, the Union Minister along with the CM visited the beautiful Sangtam village of Tethuyo.
On his twitter handle on Friday, Rijiju stated: “After the special Cabinet Meeting at Kiphire in Nagaland we visited the beautiful Sangtam village of Tethuyo. The amazing love and affection shown by the villagers touched my heart.”
