Two more patients, who were earlier infected by Covid19, have recovered in Meghalaya.
This has been confirmed by Meghalaya chief minister Conrad K Sangma on his Twitter handle on Tuesday.
Chief minister Sangma said the two patients from West Garo Hills recovered from the disease after they tested negative twice.
With the new cases, the total number of Covid19 patients, who have recovered from the disease in Meghalaya, has risen to 28.
Meghalaya has so far registered 44 Covid19 positive cases.
The deadly disease has claimed the life of the state’s first Covid19 positive patient.
Meghalaya currently has 15 active Covid19 patients.
Sharing the recovery of two more cases, chief minister Sangma on his Twitter handle on Tuesday said: “2 more persons have recovered from West Garo Hills after testing negative twice. Total Active cases 15. Total recovered 28.”
The total number of Covid19 positive cases registered in India has crossed the three lakh-mark as the country, for the first time ever, has become one of the four nations in the world with the highest COVID19 cases.
With a rise of 10,667 cases and 380 deaths in the last 24 hours, the overall Covid19 tally in India reached 3,43,091 on Tuesday.
