Manipur was on the map of COVID-19 affected states of the country after a 23-year-old girl with a travel history to the UK tested positive on March 24 last.

However, she was discharged from the Jawaharlal Nehru Institute of Medical Sciences Hospital after her recovery on April 12.

Meanwhile, the spokesperson of the state health department in the statement said on Monday, the state government announced some relaxations to the restrictions on the lockdown.

In the absence of curative drugs and vaccines, the public is reminded that prevention is the best medicine.
