The total number of COVID-19 cases in Jammu & Kashmir rose to 726 as twenty-five more people tested positive on Monday.
Officials informed that the of the 25 fresh cases, 24 were reported from Kashmir and one in Jammu region.
“The union territory of Jammu & Kashmir in the last 24 hours reported twenty-five new positive cases, which has taken the total number of cases to 726,” the officials said.
Of the total number of cases reported so far in the Union territory, 664 cases are from Kashmir and 62 cases are from Jammu.
Of all the cases, 303 patients have recovered so far and eight people died of the disease.
“There are 415 active cases at present,” the officials further said.
Officials further informed that more than 77,600 people have been put under surveillance in the Union territory.
