Assam has registered two more COVID19 positive cases taking the state’s total to 106.
Confirming the news, Assam health minister Himanta Biswa Sarma on Monday said the infected persons are from the Cachar district in the state’s Barak Valley.
“Alert ~ Two persons of Cachar district have tested #COVID19 positive,” tweeted health minister Sarma.
With the new cases, the active COVID19 cases in Assam has increased to 60.
Earlier, a total of 41 COVID19 patients were discharged from various hospitals across the state after their recovery.
While two positive cases migrated from the state, the deadly disease has so far claimed the lives of 3 persons in Assam.
“Total cases 106. Recovered 41. Active cases 60. Deaths 3. Migrated 2,” Sarma added.
